Launchbase Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of Launchbase.
1. Agreement and incorporated terms
These Launchbase Terms of Service ("Launchbase Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Remotely Works, Inc. ("Remotely," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Launchbase, you agree to these Launchbase Terms and the Remotely Terms of Use (the "General Terms"), which are incorporated by reference.
These Launchbase Terms supplement the General Terms. If they conflict, these Launchbase Terms control for Launchbase. Launchbase may be used for authorized internal business and professional purposes, notwithstanding any personal or noncommercial-use restriction in the General Terms.
Our Launchbase Privacy Notice explains how we handle information in connection with Launchbase.
2. The service
Launchbase is a software platform that lets users authorize software agents to work with shared resources. Its current modules include Platform identity and authorization, Setbase structured data, Shipbase frontend hosting, and Frontdesk just-in-time operations through connected Gmail and Slack accounts.
Launchbase may be offered as a preview, release candidate, beta, evaluation, or generally available service. Features, limits, interfaces, and availability may change. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, Launchbase includes no service-level commitment, guaranteed support response, data-restoration commitment, or promise that a feature will remain available.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Launchbase for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes the organization.
You may use Launchbase only where lawful. You must provide accurate account information, protect your account and authorized clients, and promptly notify us at contact@remotely.works if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Accounts, workspaces, and authorization
Human access uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to the Google account associated with your Launchbase identity. Workspace owners control memberships, roles, agent grants, and connected-provider assignments. You are responsible for granting only the minimum authority needed and for reviewing and revoking access when it is no longer appropriate.
Agent credentials, public capabilities, invitation links, provider connections, and signed upload URLs are credentials. You must not publish, commit, log, or share them except with their intended recipient. You are responsible for activity performed through credentials and agents you authorize, except to the extent caused by our breach of these Launchbase Terms or applicable law.
5. Agents and automated actions
Launchbase enables third-party and user-configured agents to read information and take actions. Agents may make mistakes, misunderstand instructions, expose information through their own logs or transcripts, or take irreversible actions. You are responsible for selecting agents, reviewing requested scopes and workspace grants, supervising their use, and verifying important results.
Remotely does not control third-party agents or MCP clients and is not responsible for their outputs, retention practices, availability, or acts. Authorization by Launchbase confirms configured authority, not that an action is advisable, accurate, or appropriate.
6. Google, Gmail, Slack, and other providers
Provider connections are optional. When you connect an account, you authorize Launchbase to access and act on provider data within the permissions and capabilities you approve. You remain responsible for complying with the provider's terms and policies and for having all rights, notices, and consents necessary to process information available through that account, including communications involving coworkers, customers, and other third parties.
Gmail and Slack remain the canonical source of provider content. Launchbase does not guarantee that provider data is complete, accurate, available, or recoverable. Removing a Launchbase connection does not revoke provider-side consent; you must separately revoke access through the provider when appropriate.
7. Your content and data
You retain ownership of content and data you submit to Launchbase ("Your Content"). You grant Remotely a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, validate, transform, display, and otherwise process Your Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, support, and comply with law for Launchbase. This Launchbase-specific license replaces any broader user-content license in the General Terms for Your Content that is not intentionally made public through Launchbase.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary for Your Content and its use through Launchbase. You must not use Launchbase to process content in violation of law, contract, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, confidentiality duties, or provider policies.
Public Sites and public-intake capabilities are intentionally accessible as described by the product. You are responsible for reviewing content and removing secrets before publication. A private Shipbase Site is available to any user with a valid browser session on the same Launchbase deployment and is not restricted to members of the Site's workspace.
8. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- access an account, workspace, provider connection, system, or data without authorization;
- use Launchbase for unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or rights-infringing activity;
- upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass security or rate limits, or interfere with service operation;
- probe, scan, scrape, or reverse engineer Launchbase except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- send spam, phishing, or unlawful messages, or impersonate another person;
- use provider data for advertising, surveillance, data brokerage, or purposes inconsistent with the user's consent or provider policy;
- submit secrets or regulated data to public Sites, public-intake endpoints, or third-party agents not authorized to receive it; or
- use Launchbase to build or operate a competing service by systematically extracting its interfaces, content, or documentation.
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, Remotely, or others.
9. Sensitive and regulated use
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Launchbase is not designed to satisfy specialized requirements for protected health information, payment-card data, classified information, export-controlled technical data, or other highly regulated information. You must not use Launchbase for such information when doing so would require Remotely to accept additional legal or compliance obligations.
10. Fees
Fees, payment terms, usage allowances, and taxes, if any, are governed by the applicable order form or other written agreement. If no separate agreement applies, we may provide, limit, or discontinue access without charge at our discretion.
11. Remotely technology and feedback
Remotely and its licensors retain all rights in Launchbase, including its software, interfaces, documentation, designs, and trademarks. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use Launchbase during the term for its intended purpose.
If you provide feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or obligation, provided we do not identify you publicly as its source without permission.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Launchbase at any time and may revoke sessions, agent authorizations, memberships, and provider connections using available controls. You should export information you need before ending use.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continued operation is no longer commercially or technically practical. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Suspension or termination does not automatically delete retained content, audit history, backups, or provider-side consent. Contact contact@remotely.works for a verified deletion request.
13. Disclaimers, liability, disputes, and indemnity
The warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, arbitration agreement, class-action waiver, governing law, and other general legal provisions in the General Terms apply to Launchbase. To the extent the liability cap in the General Terms applies, it remains the greater of the amount paid to Remotely for the service giving rise to the claim or $100, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation.
Without limiting those provisions, Launchbase is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that Launchbase, provider APIs, generated output, agent actions, or stored content will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. You should independently review important data, code, deployments, messages, and automated actions.
14. Changes
We may update these Launchbase Terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will publish revised terms here and update their effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively after reasonable notice when required by law. Continued use after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance.
